I did have some trouble unlocking and I'd like to take this opportunity to review the excellent customer service that the people from (QPU).They really helped me out with the whole process and we're very quick!
Sounds like they were just up-selling for more revenue.įirst off, thanks for your help with suggestions for unlocking my BlackBerry.
IDK.īut I do personally know some people on 'A Fee & Fee' that received free unlock codes by simply stating they were traveling out of the country. However, I do not know the policy stipulations so you may not be eligible for the 'on contract' reason. They are supposed to transfer you to a secondary 'technical' department that sends the code and instructions to you via email within 24-48 hours. It's not the CSR that is supposed to 'know' the code. So similar to the T-Mobile BlackBerry trade in offer. So i purchased unlock code onlineThese CSRs drive me crazy! They know nothing! He said he could not help me and they have international plans i could sign up for. I told him I tried it but it said I was not eligible since I was still under contract. The guy from the International desk said he didn't know the code that I would need to go to the website. I have AT&T and I called today to get the unlock code for my Z10 because I will be going out of the country.
